Made from 100% traditional cider pear varieties, grown in meadow orchards and produced using the cryo-concentration method.
Ramborn is Luxembourg’s premier cidery, their products selling in a wide selection of Michelin starred restaurants in France and Luxembourg. It’s now also a B-Corp certified and carbon negative company.
The fruit is taken from their ‘meadow orchards’, a term used to describe standard or full-size apple and pear trees which are planted in a way that allows each tree to remain in harmony with its surroundings and encourage its own micro-bio diversity. These trees are not of the dwarf variety, engineered to facilitate easy pruning and picking, but standard size, growing to a full height of around 30 feet, and often taking up to 6 years to crop. Nor are they planted in strict rows to encourage wild flowers and a diverse wildlife (in the past, they would often be a home to grazing cattle).
