Production
At Mas des Restanques you will find super wonderful Rhône wines, and in general the house is a very good introduction to Rhône in particular. Unlike many other producers, Mas des Restanques is organic and uses so little sulphites that you can almost call them natural wines too. And then they are not aged in barrels. It gives the wines a slightly earthy taste, which suits them to a great extent.

Tasting notes
This Côtes du Rhône is the house's more common wine, a blended wine with Grenache at its core. It is structured with a lot of fullness and charm, notes of raspberry and plum and a touch of fresh cedar. A little dust and flint in the tannins, which are otherwise round and pleasant.
Food match
Drink it with grilled meat, chicken or wonderful vegetable dishes. Buy it because you want to try a Rhône wine and think it could be exciting with an organic variant, which surprises positively.
