From 25-year-old vines on calcareous loess soils, fermented in stainless steel, Oppenheim Sackträger Riesling Trocken is pure, fresh and mineral on the nose, provided with dense white fruits, herbal, floral and mineral/flinty aromas. Bright, intense and racy on the palate, this is a juicy, straight, elegant dry Riesling in the leaner, salty-mineral style. It is compact and finessed, still young but with good aging potential. Good, aromatic and tensioned finish.
