Production
At the start of the year rich rainfalls generated good water reserves in the soil. Vegetation started mid May, just a few days ahead of schedule. A mild spring turned into a warm and dry summer but luckily without heat peaks. Isolated but rich rainfalls kept the dry stress away.Picking began on the 3rd of September. The stable weather system enabled a calm and precise harvest. The grapes tasted just a bit riper as in previous years. The acidity is just a notch lower and the mouthfeel of the wines is grippy and structured. The nose is crystal-clear alluring and shows finesse and a noble understatement.
