Production
Vegetation in 2019 started early but due to a very arid climate the vines developed stable but slowly. After an early flowering our thirsty vineyards received healthy amounts of rainfall in a mild climate with few heatpeaks. Harvest started in early September and remained mostly dry which allowed us to pick at a slow and preciserhythm. The wines of 2019 are on the lighter and vivid side but convince through a settled, deep but persistent taste.

100% Riesling, balanced style. Light, dynamic, modern and typical “Rhinefront” aromas of stone-fruits paired with its distinct minerality. The grapes for this wine grow in the area of the Rhinefront and a combination of different soils make this wine simply enjoyable. Main soil types are red slate and clay
