A pure and elegant, fruit forward German Pinot Noir from the Bavarian wine region of Franconia.

Production

The vineyards on which the grapes for this wine are grown are on south facing slopes of the Centgrafenberg overlooking the picturesque towns of Miltenberg and Bürgstadt. Minimal intervention, gentle vinification and long barrel ageing is key to the winemaking and the quality of the finished product shows how this pays off.

  • Tasting notes

A spiciness and a smokiness on the nose. The wine is beautifully textured with a strong oak component but seamlessly integrated into the wine. The tannins are very refined even at this stage and the length to the finish is excellent.

  • Food match

Roast pork or, slightly pink lamb are winning food combinations here as would be hearty vegetarian dishes featuring mushrooms and root vegetables.
