Made using the ‘méthode ancestrale’ where the cider is bottled before primary fermentation is finished and without the addition of secondary yeasts or sugars to provide a natural in-bottle sparkle. Apples are sourced from the company’s own chemical-free orchards in Makarisvska Buda, near the Ukrainian capital of Kiev, and the resulting cider is made only from 100% juice without the use of any concentrates, to produce a drink that shows great balance and the lower alcohol that are hallmarks of the company’s products.
Slightly cloudy and pale lemon / gold colour with a light sparkle, the yeasty sweet fruit ferment nose hints at hot cross buns, this cider shows light tannins and finishes dry.Food match
A super lightly sparkling aperitif can be drunk on its own, or try with vegetable spring rolls, or samosas.
